Sweet Raspberry Fruit That is Easy to Grow!

This vigorous red raspberry bush cultivar will have you eating raspberries by the bushel in no time! The Red Caroline Raspberry Bush is a sure winner!

The pink raspberry bush flowers appear in the early spring to early summer growing season that matures to produce larger berries with a sweet flavor like ice cream. The intense raspberry flavor will delight your senses.

The red raspberry bush features large, firm juicy berries that ripen in August (berries can ripen earlier the further south you grow) through the first frost.

The Caroline raspberry thornless is exceptionally disease-resistant and heat tolerant compared to other everbearing raspberries. It features sweeter fruit, as well.

Canes will shoot up in winter or early spring. The strong canes need little pruning to maintain shape. Only prune crossing canes or vigorous canes improve desired shape.

CAROLINE RASPBERRY BUSH CARE

The Rubus argustus berry bush is low maintenance and easy to care for, you can even grow them as patio fruit plants if you have little to no yard space.

The variety of red raspberries is self-fertile, very sun tolerant, and deer resistant. Its fruiting canes will reach an average of 4-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide at maturity. The red raspberry fruits measure 1-2 inches wide. You will need only one plant for your home garden to produce plentiful fruit.

Grow Caroline red raspberry bush in the full sun across the United States in USDA growing zones 4-9. It is extremely cold hardy and a good contender for the northern states who want delicious raspberries! The berry bush is self-fertile and does not require another fruiting plant nearby for cross-pollination.

This raspberry variety starts developing fruit in the spring and summer months and produces fruit in the fall ready for picking. The Caroline raspberry has a second fall bearing crop after August in some warmer climates on the previous year's growth. The raspberry plant needs well draining soil to prevent root rot.

The Caroline Raspberry does not ship bare root.. it is rooted in soil in a container. Red berry plants are easy to grow fruit trees that produce bundles of fruit for years to come. Growing caroline raspberries is easy!
