If you are looking to add subtle yet enticing color to your yard, the Apricot Drift Rose bush will do just that!
The elegant Apricot Drift Rose features an authentic ground cover habit and offers a fresh look to any landscape or garden. Its double apricot colored flowers will begin blooming in spring and offer a beautiful season-long show of color. The Rosa Meimirrote blooms contrast nicely with the dark green foliage that stays green year round.
The low, spreading habit of Drift Roses makes them ideal for small gardens, hillsides and perennial beds. They will brighten up an array of border types, fill any empty spaces and spread nicely around your already established plants, paths, and walkways.
Apricot Drift Rose Care
The Apricot Rose is best suited for sunny areas and will adapt to a variety of soil types. Can be grown in zones 5-10 as with all of our Drift Roses. It has winter hardiness and can be grown in most of the United States.
This Drift series of roses is tough and disease resistant. Applying a slow release fertilizer in early spring will help these shrub roses flourish during the growing season. Deadheading spent flower blossoms will encourage more flowering. Double apricot colored flowers begin blooming in spring and if placed in full sun will rebloom again and again.
These miniature roses stay a manageable size at 1-2 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide.
Suited for small gardens or along paths. Check out our Rose Grow Guide for information on planting and growing groundcover roses!
