Indian Hawthorn blooms best in full sun to partial shade and fertile, well-drained soil. It makes an excellent low hedge or as a backdrop for a border and also as a foundation planting. The shrub is also a good plant for coastal gardens as it has a high salt tolerance and drought tolerance.
