Red Ruffle Azalea Care
For best results with the Red Ruffles azalea follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep extensive root system. This is especially during the sun exposures of the hot summer months.
Be sure to provide well drained soil that is rich in organic matter. Feed with an acid fertilizer after bloom and keep the roots cool with a thick 2-3 inch layer of mulch.
The dwarf azalea bush prefers full sun to partial shade and rich acidic soil. Make sure it is moist soil. It only grows up to 3-5 feet tall and wide. Relatively easy to grow in the southern United States. Grows best in USDA plant hardiness zones 7-9 and is only slightly cold hardy down to zone 7 with winter protection.
Our Red Azalea for sale will not disappoint your landscape for foundation plantings.

Order Plants in May of 2017. They did not ship with flowers as pictured, but after calling Perfect Plants, they explained to me that they have already bloomed for the year. At first we were upset, but understood plants all have their ideal time of year. Wish we could have ordered them before they bloomed, which is around March they said. Plants were green and healthy. Staff was nice on the phone.

The red azalea looks beautiful under my oak trees. I love that I can plant it in partial shade and it is thriving!

Hello, Unfortunately, the leaves of Red Azalea began to turn white and dry. I can not understand the reason. Please tell me, does it not want the sun at all?

Hi Valentina, thank you for your feedback on the Red Ruffles Azalea. It is possible it is getting too much sun. How many hours per day is it getting? They prefer partial sun to partial shade. Keep us posted and good luck!
