Scarlet Beauty’s plums fruit are medium sized with bright red streaked amber flesh and soft skin. Plums ripen in May or early summer. Best grown across the United States in USDA plant hardiness zones 7-10. Cannot handle freezing temperatures and high chill hours of the northern states. If you have this tree in a large container it can be grown in cooler climates. Protect your tree from winter frosts by mulching or covering it with a sheet.
