The difference between regular lemons and Meyer lemons are fascinating! This hybrid has a mellow sweet flavor versus the regular lemon with incredible acidity and sour flavor. The meyers lemons have a round, smooth skin, with a dark yellow to a rich egg yolk tinted skin. Meyer lemons have hardly no pith and more orange colored flesh. Regular lemons are more ovular, bright yellow knobby skin with a very thick white pith and the flesh is almost a neon yellow in color. I bought 1 of these for indoors. It arrived with some breakage from shipping but is a beautiful tree. I have only had it in my home for a few weeks but it seems to be healthy and ready for the growing season.
