Why Are My White Drift Roses Turning Pink?
White Drift roses may change from a pale white into a light pink depending on the climate or a change in soil conditions. Consider bringing them into slightly cooler temperatures or adding an aggressive fertilizer if you’d prefer white flowers.
How To Care for White Drift Roses Bought Online
Prune your White Drift roses to maintain the desired size and shape. In the late winter or early spring. Deadheading spent flower buds will encourage repeat blooms on these ground-cover roses. Since they are fast-growing shrubs, they will bounce back with vigor. A thick 2-inch layer of mulch across the root system will also help to retain moisture when it’s hot outside.
How Big Do White Drift Roses Get?
At maturity, White Drift rose bushes can grow up to 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide. You’ll want to leave about 3 feet between each rose bush to give them ample space to grow.
Do White Drift Roses Come Back Every Year?
White Drift roses are perennial flowers, meaning that they will regrow year after year. You can plan for your White Drift roses to be a permanent fixture in your garden if they are well cared for each season.
These icy white drift groundcover roses are known to be tough, disease resistant, drought tolerant, and cold hardy. They can grow across the United States in USDA growing zones 4-11 and are very easy to grow.
The best time to plant the drift series is in early spring or early fall for the best results. The bright white fully double blooms will cover a large space in your garden in no time.
White flower blossoms start opening in mid-spring. The rose bush can benefit from adding a slow-release fertilizer to the top of the root ball once a year to encourage new growth and colorful blooming. It will also protect against fungal diseases or black spots during the growing season.

Not only are they beautiful plants, as were the 3 gallon pink drifts I ordered from you, but they arrived in PERFECT condition - as though you had delivered them. My third order with you will be this coming week. Thank you for the care you put into your products!! It shows!!!
White Drift Rose
Plants arrived in perfect condition and are residing in a small rose bed in front of my home. I use white flowered plants in this area. I am considering adding creeping thyme ground cover to deter deer appetizers.
Perfect Plants Nursery
Hey there, green-thumbed friend! I'm so thrilled to hear that your White Drift Roses arrived in perfect condition. Creeping thyme is like a superhero disguise for your garden bed. Its low-growing nature and fragrant leaves act as a natural deterrent, making it less appetizing for deer to snack on your precious plants. So, my friend, I say go for it! Add that creeping thyme ground cover and let it work its magic in deterring those deer from treating your roses like an all-you-can-eat buffet. It's a natural and charming way to protect your plants without spoiling the overall beauty of your garden. If you need any more tips or advice along the way, you know where to find me – right here, ready to chat about all things gardening. Happy planting, and may your garden be a haven of white blooms and flourished greenery!
White Drift Roses
Purchased 4/17, UPS shipping label created 4/17. My package was received by UPS on 4/20. The roses were delivered on 4/22. The roses themselves were packaged beautifully. Tracking them was an excellent service - so I could be home to tend to them immediately. The size of the roses for 1 gallon pots are very small, a bit disappointed as these 6 drift roses were 195.00. Overall, they appear to be healthy - only 1 of the six shows signs of stress. Hoping they will thrive in their prepared garden bed.

Hi Leanne, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're so glad to hear that your roses arrived beautifully packaged and that you found our tracking service helpful. We're sorry that you were disappointed in the sizing of the plants and hope that we can do better in the future for you. They appeared to have been healthy besides the stress they might have taken during shipment but we hope they thrive and continue to do so in the years to come. Best, Shirley
I love my drift roses!!
I purchased 14 of all the drift rose bushes from Zulily in different colors. One section of my yard was planted with 2 pink and one white in memory of by best friend (55 years) daughter who passed from breast cancer. Four of the gallon roses were left in the pots they arrived in for almost 8 months but I did finally plant them. About two weeks after planting I was burned something and caught 2 of the rose bushes on fire. Called to see what I needed to do and was told to leave them alone and to fertilize at the appropriate time. Believe it or not, those rose bushes are beautiful. They change colors all the time. I get many compliments on these rose bushes. You can’t go wrong planting them in your yard.

White Drift Roses
I bought 14 rose bushes and they arrived in excellent condition (I live in Texas). They are planted and blooming. The quality of these bushes is SO much better than the rose bushes sold at our local nurseries. Definitely worth the wait of a few days!
