Fragrant Variegated Jasmine Spreads Fast & Has a Unique Look!
This form of Variegated Star Jasmine plant, sometimes called Variegated Confederate Jasmine, is as beautiful and aromatic as ever!
Fast growing jasmine with variegated leaves features green and white striated foliage throughout all seasons of the year. Long vines quickly grow and can be seen as a ground cover or grown vertically along a fence or arbor.
Star shaped jasmine flowers will bloom in late spring through early summer and have a heavenly scent that can be smelled from yards away!
Grow this variegated jasmine vine in ground and give it something to climb on like a fence, mailbox post, arbor, or trellis. Alternatively, grow jasmine shrubs as a groundcover to swiftly cover areas and act as an erosion reducer.
Variegated Jasmine Care
Best grown in full sun for flower production but variegated confederate jasmine tolerates being grown in partial sun and partial shade. It loves the warm climate of the southern United States and the best zones are 7b-10. For growers in colder climates, plant in containers and move indoors for winter.
Well draining soil that is slightly acidic is preferred but jasmine can adapt to most soil types. Fertilize annually in spring with a slow release fertilizer or Liquid Jasmine Fertilizer to enhance flower production.
A thick 2 inch layer of mulch will do your new jasmine plant right to help insulate root systems and retain moisture.
As a vining groundcover, it will grow to heights of 2 feet tall and 30 feet long. When grown as a vertical plant on a trellis or hedge screen or fence

It’s always scary buying plants online
It’s always scary buying plants online. This is my first purchase with perfect plants so I was even a little more leery. I was happy to receive my purchase and that everything was intact. My Jasmine arrived in good condition but definitely in shock due to the delivery and maybe even the heat. I lost all its leaves which made me not want to plant it right away in case I had to return it. But I’m pleased to say it’s come back very nicely so she will be planted this week. I will definitely consider Perfect Plants again.
