GRANNY SMITH APPLE TREE CARE
This deciduous fruit tree has a long growing season. It ripens and bears fruit in early November. It is self-fertile but does best with a cross pollinator such as Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, or Fuji. Granny Smith apple tree requires 400 chill hours and prefers well-drained soil.
The Granny apple tree grows best in full sun so when planting the tree be sure to pick a good spot. The first year it needs to have a regular watering schedule to establish a good root system.
