Developed at Clemson University, the Carored Peach Tree is one of the best choices for home gardeners!

This velvety skinned & sweet red peach ripens in early to mid-summer depending on your location and you can pick yellow peaches anywhere from late May through June.

The trees produce a high yield of sweet juicy yellow flesh peaches that are 2-3 inches in diameter in size. The medium sized red peaches have a red blush overlay color with a sweet sweet taste and tons of juice!

This early season cultivar has melting flesh melts in your mouth and a clingstone pit. They're great for fresh eating, canning, and for use in baked goods like peach cobbler as a cooking peach.

Clingstone Peach Tree Care

Being resistant to most diseases, it is so easy to maintain the Carored Peach Tree. Grow this cold hardy fruit tree across the United States in USDA zones 5-10. Give it plenty of full sun, at least 6-8 hours a day, and well-draining soil.

An annual application of slow release fertilizer will benefit the tree for structural growth and increase fruit yield. Water thoroughly during the first year of planting to establish a strong root system and during the fruiting period to avoid blossom drop.

This self-pollinating peach tree performs better with other peach or nectarine varieties nearby. Carored peach variety needs around 650 chill hours. At full maturity, the fruit tree can grow up to 18 feet tall and 15 feet wide.
