Bright Red Reblooming Flowers

As the original members of the Knock Out family, the Red KnockOut Rose bush adds not only a continuous burst of rich cherry red color but also a light sweet scent to your garden!

This cultivar’s bright red flowers bloom continuously and proliferous. Like the other Knock Out rose varieties, the red knockout rose tree has extraordinary resistance to common rust and powdery mildew, and resistance to black spot foliage diseases. Although resistant, they are not immune and need proper care to prevent these problems from occurring.

The bloom cycle for these flowering shrub roses starts in early spring and reblooms all summer long. Roses require deadheading spent flower blossoms to encourage continuous blooming.

This beautiful rose bush makes for a superb low hedge. It could also be planed as an accent shrub.  The dark, semi-glossy foliage contrasts nicely with the bright blooms of the roses creating visual appeal in any landscape.

RED KNOCK OUT ROSE BUSH CARE

This red rose bush can grow up to 3-5 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide. Dig a hole the size of the root ball and water thoroughly the first year of planting to establish a strong root system. After it is established, it is fairly drought tolerant. Grow roses in full sun although they can tolerate partly shaded areas.

Grow this knockout rose across the United States in USDA hardiness zones 5-10. Has very good winter hardiness for the northern states, although winter rose protection may be necessary for areas with extremely cold winters.

No special care is needed besides an annual application of slow release fertilizer or organic fertilizer at the top of the root ball. It can help during the growing season to encourage flowering. Fertilize your rose bush in early spring. Our Rose Soil Mix will work wonders for your new rose bush when amending the soil.

Prune your rose bush in spring or fall to maintain desired size and shape. You can even prune this rose into a knock out rose tree. These flowering trees are versatile and can be grown in a variety of ways.

Lucy

I purchased these for my parents and my parents were absolutely amazed at the size of the plants, how healthy the plants are and the blooms already on the plants. My parents didn't think they would be able to get the roses, because of Covid19 and their age, they couldn't go out to shop. Thanks to your website I was able to please my Parents for Mother's Day and Father's Day. Thank you Lucy
