AUTUMN BONFIRE ENCORE AZALEA CARE
Grow encore azalea bushes across the United States in USDA growing zones 6-10. This plant prefers 4-6 hours of morning and afternoon full sun with intermittent shade and does best in moist, well-drained soils that have a lower soil pH. Slightly acidic garden soil is best for keeping this true red azalea healthy.
A slow-release fertilizer applied annually in early spring will help encourage growth and red flowers on this fast-growing dwarf flowering shrub. Apply the fertilizer at the top of the root ball for best results.
The azalea encore autumn bonfire is a drought-tolerant, repeat bloomer that has a mature height of 3 feet with an equal spread. The 3-gallon encore azalea is also pest and disease resistant. It is easy to grow and looks gorgeous in any garden!

Plant was in good condition when I planted it, but we received a hard frost the following day and a freeze a couple days latter the leaves turned brown I am concerned that it mite not bounce back come spring here in Ohio.
