FAST GROWING, CLIMBING VINE WITH BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS
Wisteria Amethyst Falls Tree is a deciduous, woody-stemmed climbing vine with a vigorous growth rate. Great for trellis and arbor planting, but can also be kept in a container in smaller spaces. Add a touch of purple color to your garden with these cascading wisteria flowers!
The Wisteria Frutescens Amethyst Falls plant puts on a gorgeous display of fragrant, purple flowers that bloom in the late spring and summer growing seasons. The twining stems will need something to cling onto like a trellis until the base stem/vine is achieved.
The flowering vine has dark lavender blooms in grape-like clusters that contrast the dark green foliage nicely. These purple flower clusters have a lightly fragrant scent and can attract butterflies and hummingbirds to your landscape. The Amethyst Falls Wisteria smell is light and nice.
Amethyst Falls wisteria vine is perfect for an accent plant, specimen tree, or vining shrub, or planted in a container. The patio wisteria amethyst falls can be enjoyed in a potted container on porches or pool decks to add a luxurious vibe.
AMETHYST FALLS WISTERIA CARE
Plant this purple wisteria vine in full sun to partial shade and water regularly until the root systems become well established. Keep soil moist before, during, and after planting. Well-draining soil is best but it can tolerate a wide range of climates and soils. Dig a hole two times the size of the pot and loosen the soil at the base of the plant’s root ball. Set the plant with roots slightly above the soil line. Backfill the hole and mulch the base of the plant to help retain moisture.
Growing up to 15 feet tall and 10 feet wide at full maturity, this fast-growing vine can get huge! It can take heavy pruning though and can be maintained to the desired size and shape of your planting site. It can even be pruned into a small wisteria tree! Unlike its Asian wisteria cousins, this is a less aggressively growing version and a non-invasive plant species.
The Amethyst Falls Wisteria is deer-resistant, drought-tolerant, and easy to grow. Enjoy exotic-looking and fragrant blooms in the first year of planting the Amethyst Falls American wisteria vine.

Some plants great, some barely hanging on
My experience with this company itself was great, easy, and the plants arrived fast and very well packed. The 5 plants I received were all rather large for the price and seemed healthy. As far as the fate of these plants: 2 are doing great and vining, 1 is doing well but hasn’t yet put out any particular vines, but 2 plants are borderline. I’m quite a skilled gardener and have personally planted well over 1000 shrubs and ornamental plants, and I I know all 5 plants I received were equally properly planted, watered, and well tended. So I’m a bit disappointed two seem to be just limping along and may fail. But, 4 of these plants are against a white vinyl fence which is not a forgiving environment (think of the heat reflection) for a transplant. I probably would have been better of temporarily masking the fence to shield the plants. On the better side, 1 plant has already vined out well with at least 25 feet of total vine (on 4 runs) so I’ll hold onto some faith for now for the stragglers. This plant climbed (on a rope trellis) from ground to the roof of a shed and is currently putting on 1-2 feet a day along the perimeter of the shed. So that plant alone is worth the total cost I paid for all 5. I’d love to know if there is a trick to force the bushy form I received to be a supercharged vine. Admittedly the plant I did initially trellis is doing the best so perhaps 3 of the other plants just need more time now that they are trellised. To anyone wanting wisteria without the aggression, this plant does, so far at least, have much less aggression that Asian varieties. This plant is happy to grow along the rope support but is not in any way “attacking” beyond that. Asian wisteria can be quite the opposite.

Hi Lorenzo, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're thrilled to hear that you had a great overall experience with our company - from easy ordering to fast and well-packed plant delivery. It sounds like you received some healthy and impressive-looking plants, and it's always a joy to see them flourishing in the garden. it's fantastic that one of the plants is already vining out well and putting on quite a show! As for encouraging the bushy form to transform into a supercharged vine, trellising seems to have done wonders for the plant you initially trained. It's possible that the other three plants just need some more time to adjust and start vining now that they are also trellised. Overall, we're grateful for your support and feedback. If you ever have any more questions or need further guidance, don't hesitate to reach out. Keep up the great work with your garden, and may your plants continue to thrive and surprise you with their beauty! Happy planting, Shirley
Nice 1gallon plant!
Live in NY, couldn’t get too big of plant to start with. I’ve been looking around my neighborhood’s nurseries for this hardy vine; only found really high price in 2-3 gallon or even bigger; or similar price as perfect plant but in much smaller planter sizes. So i decide to give this a try. Received it about a week after my order. Plant was packed in very steady and comfortable way to make sure it’s survival after this transition. I left it in my balcony for a week, watered it every 3 days, so it started to adopt to the environment and then transplanted to a bigger pot after that week. Though there were small amount of leaves turn yellow and fell in this week, but new branches are coming out quick! Absolutely growing! Hope it will hold up well in my small but tough open space through this summer! Thank you, perfect plants! Will recommend to my friends and will come back for more if this experiment is successful!
