How To Plant Ruby Loropetalum
The best time for planting loropetalum is the spring growing season for optimum growth. To plant a Ruby Loropetalum chose a planting area with full sun to partial shade. Also consider that the Ruby Red Loropetalum likes the soil moist but does not like wet feet or the shrub will contract root rot and potentially die.
Slightly acidic soils are okay too. A thick 2 inch layer of mulch or organic matter applied around the root zone will help retain moisture during the hotter months.
For spacing you can plant them 4 to 5 feet apart. Check out the Grow Guide for Loropetalum Hedges for more information on planting and growing these shrubs!

All of my plants are in the ground and thriving. I love my beautiful hydrangea tree and I think I am the only condo that has one in our community. I was so impressed with how carefully they were packaged and shipped, and they got here in a short amount of time. I am so glad I found your nursery I am having so much fun in my new yard with beautiful plants. Thank you!
I've had my bush for a year now. It came to me a foot tall and now is 4 ft tall. Packaged very well. Have never ordered a plant that was packaged that well. Bloomed this year early spring with beautiful hot pink fringe like flowers. Very pleased.
