Tough Russian Pom
After planting my Russian Pomegranate last April 2024 we received an unexpected super freeze and all the beautiful green leaves froze and dropped off. I was amazed though how it rebounded in the next couple of months. During its first year in the ground it grew nicely and now I am waiting to see how it progresses in its second year. With all these arctic blasts we’ve had this year we will see how tuff this tree really is.
Great customer service!
When my pomegranate tree first arrived, it had leaves and looked vibrant. I became concerned when it lost all of its leaves within a few days. (I live in upstate NY and was concerned this was because of the cold it had endured during shipping.). I contacted customer service and they assured me that the tree was probably entering dormancy and that it would come back after this period. They made a note on my account, and said they will replace the tree if it does not come back. I got quick and assuring responses from customer service on several occasions, and they walked me through what I need to do with the tree, and what I should see as its dormant period ends. Crossing our fingers that the tree comes back:)
