Do drift roses need to be deadheaded?

Drift roses do not need to be deadhead since they are reblooming plants. You can deadhead if you want to clean up the bush want the flowers have died.

How do you winterize Drift Roses?

To winterize your rose bushes put a 2 inch layer of mulch down at the base of the plant. For the first winter you may want to cover your plant if it gets below freezing to ensure its survival.

Why are my drift roses dying?

Drift roses are fairly disease resistant and are very hardy plants. If for some reason your roses show signs of dying please contact your local agricultural hub so that they can help you determine the problem.

The elegant Peach Drift Rose bush features an authentic ground-cover habit and offers a fresh look to any landscape or garden. This rose bush’s soft peach blooms cover the plant from mid-spring and offer a beautiful season-long show of color.

The low, spreading habit of Drift groundcover roses makes them ideal for small gardens, hillsides, or perennial beds. Their colors will brighten up an array of border types, fill empty spaces, and spread nicely around your already-established plants! They are excellent mass planting roses!

PEACH DRIFT ROSE CARE

The rose is best suited for full sun areas and will adapt to a variety of soil types. Purchase our Rose Soil Mix for the perfect amendment for planting in the ground or in containers. These floriferous dwarf shrubs exhibit strong disease resistance as all members of the Drift series do. Don’t worry about black spot, mildew, and rust… they are all covered with being resistant!

These miniature roses grow up to 1-2 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide and feature a spreading habit. They are the #1 ground cover roses from Star Roses and plants. The Peach Drift Rose pairs well with perennials in any landscape as a companion plant.

The Peach rose bush has great winter hardiness and is extremely cold hardy. Grow across the United States in USDA growing zones 5-10. Will produce flowers throughout the growing season until the first freeze of late fall.

Fertilize your new plant annually in early spring with Slow Release Fertilizer at the top of the root ball. Water thoroughly during the first year of planting to establish a strong root system.
