BRIDAL WREATH SPIREA CARE
Grow this flowering shrub across the United States in USDA plant hardiness zones 4-9. It prefers to be planted in full sun but can tolerate some partial shade. Well drained soil is best but it is not picky about soil conditions.
Spirea bridal wreath growth rate is up to 5-9 feet tall and 6-8 feet wide at full maturity. Bridal wreath spirea can cover a large area! A yearly application in the early spring of slow release fertilizer at the top of the root ball will help its growth habit and small white flowers appear.
This flowering plant is low maintenance and easy to care for! White spirea is resistant to powdery mildew, root rot, and fire blight and can tolerate a variety of planting sites. Plus, it’s deer resistant! A layer of organic matter such as mulch or compost at the top of the planting hole will help retain moisture in hot locations.

Bridal Wreath Spirea Bushes
The 3 bushes I ordered arrived quite soon after the order was placed, wrapped and boxed well, and in wonderful condition. We planted them outside our back porch so we can see them grow and enjor their shade as they grow bigger each year. These are one of my favorite bushes, evoking memories of when I was a child in Buffalo, NY, and they bloomed each May; we called them "First Communion Bushes" - and I still do! Thank you for your good and healthy plants and your wonderful customer service!

very satisfied
Very helpful on the phone; plants arrived promptly and in good shape, and continue to thrive. We are very satisfied and would definitely order again.

Summer
The spirea arrived looking ok. It’s planted and living its best life. The plant doesn’t look like the picture, it’s getting there. It’s happy to be in Colorado.
