Delivery seemed fine, but both plants I ordered are not doing well and one appears dead.
The delivery was fine but both trees are not doing well. Perhaps it's the clay-like soil here in Meridian, Idaho? I planted one in my mom's backyard and it only has a few tiny leaves left. I am unsure if it's dead or not, I suppose we will find out in the next week or two if new growth appears. The tree I planted in my backyard had a lot of yellow and brown leaves, covering about 60% of the tree, within about 10 days of planting. It still has some green leaves but I am unsure if the trajectory is going in the right or wrong way. Perhaps I will update this review to a more positive one if both trees end up surviving.

Hi Brian, Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Sorry to hear that both of your trees aren't doing so hot. Clay-like soil can definitely be a challenge, but don't lose hope just yet! It's not uncommon for newly planted trees to go through an adjustment period. Keep a close eye on the one in your mom's backyard and see if any new growth pops up in the next week or two - it might just surprise you! As for the tree in your own yard, yellow and brown leaves can be a sign of stress, but don't give up on it just yet. Keep watering it regularly and make sure it's getting enough sunlight. Trees are resilient, and with a little TLC, it might start bouncing back. We're rooting for the survival of both trees, and we hope to hear a more positive update from you soon. Keep those gardening spirits high, and may your garden flourish! Best, Shirley
