Attractive Pink Blooms Bring Pollinators to Your Garden & Mature Into Sweet Fruit
The June Princess Nectarine Tree will have your tastebuds buzzin!
Nectarine 'June Princess' is one of the best self pollinating nectarine trees for southern gardens for its prolific fruit bearing from an early age.
Differing only slightly from most peach varieties, this freestone fruit tree has red skin, less yellow blush than most other nectarines, and a yellow flesh on the inside. There is no fuzz on this nectarine variety and it has a sweet and juicy taste.
June Princess Nectarine is a fast grower and yields a rewarding crop of delicious fruit. It has a longer hang time than most nectarine varieties and will ripen until soft on the tree. Nectarine fruit ripens in mid summer around June or July.
Perfect addition to your fruit tree orchard or in home garden for getting tons of fruit!
June Princess Nectarine Tree Care
Grow this freestone nectarine tree across the United States in USDA hardiness zones 5-9 in full sun. At least 6-8 hours of sunlight are required for fruit production.
A slightly acidic and well draining soil is preferred but they are tolerant of many soil types. Our Fruit Tree Planting Mix is the perfect soil amendment for native soils lacking nutrients.
It is self pollinating, meaning you only need 1 tree to get fruit. However, having more than 1 tree will increase fruit load meaning more fruit for you to enjoy!
At mature size, June Princess Nectarine will grow up to 12-15 feet tall. Space the trees at least 6-8 feet apart for best results.
This variety of nectarine is resistant to pests and disease and is an easy to grow fruit for your garden!
