Add Continuous Peach-Pink Blooms and Compact Elegance with the Peach Drift® Rose Tree

Peach Drift® Rose Tree Delivers Season-Long Color and Effortless Curb Appeal

The Peach Drift® Rose Tree combines nonstop peachy pink blooms in a compact, ornamental tree form perfect for patios, containers, and vibrant garden beds. Heat-tolerant, low-maintenance, and re-blooming from spring to frost!

Brilliant orange, pink, and yellow colorful blossoms flower all season long and continue to re-bloom all year if deadheaded regularly. The bloom cycle starts in early spring and rose buds will form from spring until mid-summer before the weather gets too hot. They are fully double flowers on the rose bush tree. You may even see flower heads form until fall through the first frost.

Dark green foliage stays evergreen all year long on the potted rose tree to provide a nice contrast of colors to the colorful flower clusters.

The Drift Patio Rose Tree comes in a 3-gallon container and measures 3-4 feet tall. It is perfect for keeping in a container for your porch or patio, planting in the ground as a specimen tree, or planting in groups. They truly become a focal point to add color, so be sure to use shrub rose tree landscaping ideas to your advantage.

Peach Drift Rose Tree Care

Drift Rose shrubs are extremely easy to grow and the rose tree is no different! This reblooming rose tree comes with the same pest and disease resistance as all the Knockout and Drift Roses from Star Roses. It also boasts the same heat and drought tolerance qualities once established.

Grow the cold hardy knockout rose tree in a pot across the United States in USDA hardiness zones 5-10. This low-maintenance rose tree variety is not picky and will tolerate a wide range of planting sites and garden soil types (even clay soils). If you are growing it in a container, be sure to choose one with a drainage hole.

Grow in full sun to partial shade for best results. You may experience fewer flowers if planted in a more shaded area. Moist, well-draining soil is best to prevent root rot on the root systems. A slow-release fertilizer will help give the flowering tree a good boost of nutrients if applied in the early spring.

Peach Drift Roses are easy to care for and provide beautiful rose blooms during the spring and summer blooming seasons. What is not to love?

When to Prune a Rose Tree

The best time to prune Drift roses is in late winter to early spring before the spring growing season begins. However, you can prune them at almost any time of the year to encourage new growth.

How to Prune a Rose Tree

Pruning rose trees is essential to keep the blooms lasting and forming all year long. Deadhead spent blossom to encourage new blooms to form. You can shape the tree to any shape or size you desire. It is best to prune back any dead or crossed branches. They don’t need much maintenance but annual pruning will benefit them greatly!

Winterizing a Rose Tree

Winter is a dormant season for roses. They will still carry over their dark green foliage but flowering will decrease as will growth. Never fertilize in winter as this encourages new growth, which is more susceptible to cold damage.
