Most privacy trees prefer full sun but some can tolerate shade.

Dig holes that are two times the size of the root ball. Next, fill the hole with new well-draining soil and place your trees in the holes. Lastly, backfill the hole and water your tree, you will want to water your newly planted tree daily for a month to ensure that it becomes established.
